Our History
SurePoint was founded in 2005 by Mike Lachance, Jim Fallon and Rob Fast to address the challenges many insurers face in order to successfully grow and manage their businesses.
During the 1990s, Mike Lachance, Jim Fallon and a former colleague , built the largest turnkey disability underwriting manager in the United States establishing a track record of growth and profitability. They also managed one of the largest absence management organizations in the country as well as a leading Social Security advocacy organization.
Rob Fast has a similar background. As head of a leading reinsurer, Rob lead a profit correction encompassing over $80 million in reinsured LTD premium, 3000 cases and 20,000 open claims. Later, Rob went on to build the east coast operation of ClearPoint, Inc., a leading brokerage firm.
Since 2005, SurePoint has built a team of highly seasoned professionals representing a wealth of business and technical experiences. The combination of these people and their diverse experiences has positioned SurePoint with an unparalleled ability to advise clients on the complex challenges facing our industry today.
